Cindy Hudson is a mother-daughter book club consultant, journalist, writer, editor, and marketer. She has more than 20 years experience as a marketing and public relations professional. She is a founder of two mother-daughter book clubs: the first started more than seven years ago when her now 17-year-old daughter was nine and the second began more than four years ago with her now 14-year-old daughter.

Hudson has been interviewed as a mother-daughter book club expert for “Build a Better Book Club,” in Family Fun magazine (June 2008) and for Mother & Daughter magazine (April 2008). She was also quoted as a mother-daughter book club expert in an article, “Reading each other: In book clubs, moms, girls are on the same page,” by Karen Herzog, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, (September 26, 2007). Her essay, "Book Club Bonding — Fun for All Ages," was published in Daughters magazine's September/ October 2007 issue.

Hudson is also the publisher of the informational website MotherDaughterBookClub.com and the blog MotherDaughterBookClub.wordpress.com, where more than six thousand readers visit each month to learn about age-appropriate book choices, read book reviews and author interviews, and get ideas for meeting activities. She lives in Portland, OR.
